In his leisure time Rich enjoyed cooking, reading, doing crossword puzzles in the Inquirer, listening to jazz and engaging in current event discussions, however; his greatest pleasure was spending quality time with his family at the beach. Among a lifetime of accomplishments, he was a founding member of the Cobbs Creek Little League Baseball Team and a Prince Hall Mason- Corinthian 114 Lodge.
Rich departed this long life on the evening of August 30th, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife Patrica M.
