We announce with deep sorrow the passing of Dr. Natakii Sunsori, a cherished mother, visionary stylist, and fervent advocate for holistic health. Natakii’s life was a testament to her relentless drive, creativity, and unconditional love for her family and community, marking her as a true trailblazer.

 Natakii demonstrated an extraordinary talent for beauty and style from a young age, leading her to own and operate Garlands Headquarters Unlimited in Cheltenham, PA, during the 1970s. 

This high-end salon became a haven for those seeking innovation and personalization, attributable to Natakii's unmatched creativity and dedication to her craft. Her greatest devotion, however, was to her family. 

Natakii was a pillar of strength and guidance for her daughters, Cheryl and Leslie, ensuring they received an education filled with opportunity and growth. Ceaselessly pursuing new horizons, Natakii earned her Doctor of Naturopathy diploma in the early 1990s, adopting the name "Dr. Natakii Sunsori" to honor her admiration for Japanese culture. 

Her commitment to self-improvement saw her becoming a Master Herbalist, Gourmet Vegan Chef, and accumulating other distinguished qualifications. The late 1980s brought her to London to study at Vidal Sassoon, where her creativity caught the attention of Vidal Sassoon himself. 

Offered a position in his London salons, she graciously declined, steadfast in her personal vision and path. In the early 1990s, Sacramento, California, became her new home, where she established a flourishing Wellness center. 

This center was a sanctuary where people overcame addictions and transformed their lifestyles, drawing a diverse clientele that included celebrities like Michael J. Pollard, Anna Marie Horsford, and Cindy Williams. Dr. Natakii Sunsori leaves a legacy of resilience, innovation, and compassion. Survived by her daughter Leslie, son-in-law Bobby, sisters Dorothy Alice and Barbara Christine, and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, and friends, she is predeceased by her daughter Cheryl. 

Her beloved dog, Sunni—her devoted companion—will be laid to rest beside her. As we mourn Natakii’s passing, we celebrate the profound and inspiring life she led. Her enduring legacy is one of resilience and creativity, dedicated to the well-being of others. Her spirit will continue to underscore the importance of health and wellness in our lives, fostering a holistic understanding of well-being that embraces both physical and mental health.

 Her life's work transcends her immediate practice, embodying a mission to empower individuals to overcome challenges, embrace healthier lifestyles, and pursue transformative self-growth. Her influence will persist, guiding communities towards enhanced health consciousness and mindful living.

 By championing the intricate connections between health, wellness, and holistic healing, Dr. Natakii Sunsori has inspired many to seek not only physical well-being but also inner peace and balance. Her legacy stands as a beacon for those dedicated to cultivating a more harmonious and healthy world.
