LIFE STORY
Morris Moore Jr. was born February 23,1959 in Trenton New Jersey, to Morris Moore Sr. and the late Elaine Moore. He was educated in the Philadelphia School System and graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School where he ran cross country and mathematics was his favorite subject.
Morris worked various jobs in the restaurant industry, until he became disabled in 2010.
Morris loved watching basketball as well as showing his talents on the basketball court where he acquired the nickname "Smoke".His family will remember him for his quiet spirit, sense of humor, his infectious laugh, and his love of music.
Morris departed this life on April 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine Moore, his bonus mom Georgia Byrd; his sister Tina Martina; and his significant other of 8 years Kenyetta Lemar. He leaves to cherish his memory: His Father Morris Moore Sr; Two Daughters Janine Shearin and Tahira Fowler(JahDreamer); one Son, Khadia Moore; Brother Stanley Byrd (Doreen), Sister Kimberly Byrd Moore;
Six Grandchildren, Dyhir, Nahdiyah, Nahziyyah, Nahzir, David, Denim, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
