Kenneth Alfonzo “KC” Carmichael was born on June 1, 1990 in Queens, New York to Glinda Carmichael-Chase and Edward Chase. Kenneth attended Far Rockaway High School where he met a lot of friends along the way. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his children: Kamauri, Zion, and Zaire Carmichael, and only girl Nakarah Kennedi Ward. He frequently discussed the wants and desires of his heart for his children’s future with their mothers Joy Stevens and Quenessa Ward.
After the passing of his mother in 2003, Kenneth was raised by his sister Donishia Hunter and her husband Qamar Hunter. Kenneth always looked forward to spending time with his family barbecuing and making jokes. He loved spending time with lifetime partner Sade Davis. He was an avid football player and loved watching his favorite football team, The New York Giants. Kenneth had a passion for music, which inspired him to start his own music collective label: Take Risk Entertainment.
Kenneth “KC” Carmichael untimely and devastating departure occurred on Monday August 24, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother Glinda Carmichael-Chase. Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memories: children, Kamauri, Zion, and Zaire Carmichael, Nakarah Kennedi Ward; siblings, Donishia Hunter, Anthony Hooks, and Jeremiah Chase; brother-in-law, Qamar Hunter; nephews, Nasir and Jalen Hunter, Jakai Hooks, Bryson and Kalon Chase; lifetime partner, Sade Davis; and a host of half-brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends who will miss him dearly.
