Gerard Strickland

Gerard Strickland was born on February 5, 1958 to the loving and devoted parents, John and Beatrice Strickland in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Gerard was a twin brother to Jerome Strickland.

He matriculated through the Philadelphia Parochial School System, by attending St. Benedict’s Elementary School and later graduating from Cardinal Dougherty High School.

After graduation, Gerard pursued employment in custodial services at Flynn Realtor where he worked for several years.

Gerard was later married to Roxanne and from this union, they had a daughter, Erica.

 Gerard enjoyed spending time with his family and watching and participating in sporting events. He was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Gerard continued to provide service to Flynn Realtor until he succumbed to health issues and could no longer do so. During this time, Gerard received the utmost care from his loving family who continued to spread joy and uplift his spirits.

Sadly, after many years of health complications, Gerard passed away peacefully on the evening of August 13, 2022. Gerard was preceded in death by his parents, John and Beatrice Strickland. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: daughter, Erica Strickland; brothers: Jerome, Kevin and Keith Strickland; two sisters-in-law; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, loved ones and friends.
